Ward Churchill is a navice American writer and political activist. He was a professor of ethnic studies at the University of Colorado at Boulder from 1990 until he was fired in controversial circumstances in 2007. The legality of his firing is still being argued in the courts, and may relate more to his political views than to professional misconduct.
