After an M.A. in history from Harvard, Richard D. Wolff switched to Yale, gaining an MA in economics in 1966, MA in history in 1967, and a PhD in economics in 1969, submitting a idssertation on "The Economics of Colonialism: Britain and Kenya". A lifelong academic, he developed an influential reading of Marxian class analysis. See Also
