Lessons from Ladakh is a beautifully shot video produced over about 20 years by Helena Norbert-Hodge, the first non-Ladakhi to become proficient in the language. She has travelled there every years since 1975. The first half of the film depicting their traditional way of life, subsistance agriculture, and their associated society and cultural heritage.
