Download Hour1 Download Hour2This week in our first hour, we hear C. S. Soong interviewing Professor Ian Angus on the struggle between the elite and the oppressed masses to define the agenda. Who asks the questions? Is it really true that only the rich and corporations are setting the agenda? In our second hour, we hear from Virginia Rasmussen, one of the founders of POCLAD, the Program on Corporations, Law and Democracy, founded to challenge the dominance of corporations over the nation state. This discussion follows a film about the growth or corporate power. We conclude with a reading of the classic anarchist text, The Tyranny of the Clock.

Music: Piers Woodward
