Dahr Jamail

Dahr Jamail is an author and reporter. He came to prominence as one of the few unembedded journalists to report extensively from Iraq during the 2003 invasion of Iraq. He spent eight months in Iraq between 2003 to 2005, and presented his stories on his website. He has subsequently continued as an independent journalist, and following the Deepwater Horizon catastrophe, he has been reporting on pollution in the Gulf of Mexico.
